It can be as casual as a smile from a stranger, or a call from a friend. It can happen when someone opens your door, or has dinner prepared when you get home. It can be letter or note, or simply a genuine thank you. Years ago, I heard the phrase “People come into your life for a reason, season, or lifetime.” I found it inspiring and reflected on those friends and acquaintances I met and cherished, and even those I had forgotten. It’s true. People come and go. But if they touched your life in some way, make sure they know how much they were appreciated--before it's too late. Everyone could use a thank you now and then... |
My hour-here-and-there, changed to nights and weekends, with Sundays being “my” day. For that, I want to thank my family for allowing me that opportunity… for going golfing on a Sunday afternoon, so I can write, uninterrupted… for the encouragement to pursue a crazy dream at a moment I thought of giving up… and for the continued support you give me each and every day.
A huge shout out to Mike, Brittany, and Kyle… I love you!
